What is this?

Recently my disillusioned-west-coaster friend gave me a typical ironic-disillusioned-west-coaster house warming present. It was a twenty-year-old calendar book featuring quotes by women for women. Still in its shrink wrap,I knew it was going to be cheesy-but WOW ZOW! It was more than cheesy, it was like the fake pimento cheese dip at a GOP Christmas party. I was full of some of the most bizarre advice I have ever encountered, because not only odd, but sincerely righteous. It made my nose crinkle every time I passed the despicable thing, thus cooling my new home rather than warming it. I don't throw things away unless it's falling apart, forget it. No. It just needed a more rikoresque viewpoint. Thus, starting on January 1st, 2010, each day my "women's calendar" is updated. So stay tuned, Notanja
